Are You Wondering How You Can Be Fulfilled? |
God Has Restored Much That Is Necessary So That The Church Can Come Into The Fullness.
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church: Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labor, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily. You can see that it is God who does the work. this walk to fulfillment is a walk from glory to ever increasing glory. There is no instant gratification. It is all a free gift that Christ purchased on the cross. The trouble is that we have much of our flesh that we still love. We have a self-life, a soul-life that we still love. We must die to our soul-life, lay down our life. We must take up our cross, which is not a physical cross but rather the ministry that God has given us. And we must follow Jesus. Many people don't even know what their gifts and ministry is. They try to guess. They take tests. They go by feelings. That's too bad since God has made ample provision that no one has to guess. No one has to be in the dark. God has a way. Colossians 4:17 ... Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfill it. How many don't even think of fulfilling their ministry. Matthew 5:2-19 ... Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light to all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say to you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 2 Thessalonians 1:7-12 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It's a little hard to comprehend such a promise as this, but Jesus Christ is to be glorified in you and you are to be glorified in Him. This is not something that we entirely wait for. To a great extent, we can walk into this experience right now. Too many Christians are trying to make it on their own works. But God wants to do His work in you. For that you need to be filled with the Spirit. You need the structure of the Scriptural church. You need to have your gift or gifts that God chooses for you. You need to be set into your ministry by the laying on of hands. You need to walk in the Spirit so that the fruit of the Spirit begins to grow in your life. James 2:8-14 If ye fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath showed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? The royal law has to do with the fruit of the Spirit. These are not works that you can do. They are works that God does through you.
