Shalom is here translated as "peace," and it is also used for "hello" and "goodby." It literally means "completeness," or "complete soundness."  How many in the Church are pillow prophets telling their people, "You're all set." "There is nothing to press on towards." Their people follow them into a lukewarm Christianity. They will do anything but hear and obey the voice of Jesus.
