Why Do We Deserve Hell?

God doesn't want to give us what we deserve, so He has a plan.  There is no one who can say they have met God's standards.  God has a plan for us, and it would be impossible for us to fulfill His plan without Him.  His plan involves a relationship between us and Him.  Falling short of that plan is sin.

James 2:10-11 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one [point], he is guilty of all.  For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Rev 20:13-15 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.   And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.

Rom 6:22-23 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit to holiness, and the end everlasting life.  For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Mat 5:22 But I say to you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Mat 23:15 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Luk 16:23-25 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 4 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.   But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Psa 9:15-18 The heathen are sunk down in the pit [that] they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.   The LORD is known [by] the judgment [which] he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands...   The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God.   For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall [not] perish for ever.

2Pe 2:2-3 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.   And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Psa 55:15 Let death seize upon them, [and] let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness [is] in their dwellings, [and] among them.

Pro 5:3-5 For the lips of a strange woman drop [as] an honeycomb, and her mouth [is] smoother than oil:  But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.   Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.

Pro 9:13-18 A foolish woman [is] clamorous: [she is] simple, and knoweth nothing.   For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,   To call passengers who go right on their ways:   Whoso [is] simple, let him turn in hither: and [as for] him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,   Stolen waters are sweet, and bread [eaten] in secret is pleasant.   But he knoweth not that the dead [are] there; [and that] her guests [are] in the depths of hell.

Mar 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

Mar 12:40 Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

Jhn 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, to the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, to the resurrection of damnation.

You can be one of those who is saved.
