1. TODAY I WILL NOT STRIKE BACK:  
If someone is rude, if someone is impatient, if someone is unkind... I will not respond in a like manner. God will give me grace to forgive, because I have not rejected the work that Jesus did for me on the cross.  
 
2. TODAY I WILL ASK GOD TO BLESS MY "ENEMY":  
If I come across someone who treats me harshly or unfairly, I will quietly ask GOD to bless that individual. I understand the "enemy"  could be a family member, neighbor, co-worker or stranger. I can do this because Christ, who dwells in me, does the work.  
 
3. TODAY I WILL BE CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT I SAY:  
I will carefully choose and guard my words being certain that I do not spread gossip. Lord, let me speak as the oracle of God. Take control of all of my being, for I am not my own; I was bought with a price.  
 
4. TODAY I WILL GO THE EXTRA MILE:  
I will find ways to help share the burden of another person. God, give me power for righteousness and holiness, for You gave Your life and overcame death and sin. Let me be Your hand of love, extended to those in need.  
 
5. TODAY I WILL FORGIVE:  
I will forgive any hurts or injuries that come my way just as I have been forgiven. Dear Jesus, give me the power of Your Holy Spirit in my life, so that I can forgive and forget and love as if I had never been hurt.  
 
6. TODAY I WILL DO SOMETHING NICE FOR SOMEONE, BUT I WILL NOT DO IT SECRETLY:  
I will reach out anonymously and bless the life of another as the Holy Spirit opens the door for me to do so. Lord, don't allow my left hand to notice what my right hand is doing. Don't let me parade these works before others, and let me always acknowledge that the works are the works that you do through me.  
 
7. TODAY I WILL TREAT OTHERS THE WAY I WISH TO BE TREATED:  
I will practice the golden rule - "Do to others as I would have them do to me" - with everyone I encounter. This is the leading of the Holy Spirit, and this is the fruit of the Holy Spirit.  
 
8. TODAY I WILL RAISE THE SPIRITS OF SOMEONE WHO IS DISCOURAGED:  
My smile, my words, my expression of support, can make the difference to someone who is wrestling with life. Lord, let me go out in Your wisdom and Your grace and let me take of that grace and glory that You have freely give and put it into the hands of any who will receive it.  
 
9. TODAY I WILL NURTURE MY BODY:  
I will eat better and, more importantly, receive all the food that God has given me with thankfulness to God. I will thank God for my body and look to Him for healing, health, and life. I will pray that He increase my faith and my understanding so that I may partake of more of what He wants to give me.  
 
10. TODAY I WILL GROW SPIRITUALLY:  
I will spend a little more time in prayer today: I will read the Bible today, praying that God will open the eyes of my understanding; I will find a quiet place (at some point during this day) and listen to God's voice. In all of this, I will be careful to realize that my own mind is deceptive, but God is ever faithful. I will hold onto my opinions very loosely so that God is able to correct me and guide me on my way to "the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ."
