Almost all success systems talk about changing the way that you think. Sometimes, this is referred to as a paradigm shift. There is a definition of insanity that goes something like this: "Insanity is continuing to do the same things in the same way and expecting different results." Yet, people try to have real success by human-generated means and they wonder why things keep getting worse. As society degenerates around them, they declare that we need more of a humanistic approach and less of God. They have always held up a bright vision of the future. When their bright vision turns out just the opposite, they don't say that they were wrong. They ignore their false visions of the past and come up with a new vision for the coming years. Today is the future that they held up in the past, but their bright promises of the past have not worked out. Why? Because Secularist methods don't work.

Success will require a complete change in thinking. We cannot let the world (media, peer pressure, internal world-views) squeeze us into it's mold, but we must be transfigured by allowing our minds to be made new. The Bible says, "be ye not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Notice that it does not say the removal of your mind (Romans 12:2). It does say that you need a new mind. Being in passive voice, the renewing of your mind is something that you do not do. In fact, you must allow it, but you do not direct it. You see, this is really God's success method. It is not available anywhere else other than from God. Someone may direct you to this class or book or seminar. The fact is that this method is only available from God. You can enter into it, but you cannot generate it yourself. That's the big paradigm shift: the shift to learning to yield to the leading and empowerment of the Almighty.  Much better to avoid paradigms altogether and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal actual truth directly without a paradigm.

That may all seem a little bit strange. It is totally foreign to other success methods that are prevalent.
