True Happiness

Now, you can have true happiness. True happiness, not the kind of happiness that is temporary.

Gods Way understood

Most people don't even know what true happiness is. True happiness is the experience of the wisdom that flows from the throne of God. Wisdom is only available from God, and Jesus IS wisdom. Wisdom consists of righteousness, holiness and redemption. "It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption." (1 Corinthians 1:30 NIV) This is the how to of happiness: Let God do His righteousness through you and don't obey the desires of your own heart. In this way, good seed will be planted and you will reap what you sow. You will find yourself going from glory to glory into greater and greater love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, humility, inner strength, and faith. This is happiness.

Study the pages on this site to learn more about the "how-to" of true happiness. Here, you can discover what is the purpose in life and how to fulfill your purpose. It works like the diagram. Righteousness actually consists of following God's leading rather than the deception that we would have gotten from our own understanding. Holiness is actually the result of planting the seed of the Kingdom into good ground. It yields the fruit of the Spirit and it also results in your transformation into what God designed you to be.

Happiness is your destiny. And, happiness brings you to your destiny.

The US Declaration of Independence states that we are endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights, among which are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Thomas Jefferson took this concept of the pursuit of happiness from a Scottish Enlightenment writer, and it actually means, wisdom and virtue. Interestingly, The Greek word for "happiness" is eudaimonia, which is associated with aret, the Greek word for "virtue" or "excellence." This is true happiness.

Since the only source of all wisdom, virtue, or excellence is Jesus, let us seek His face with all our heart. Let us seek to yield to Him so that He can do His righteousness through us. That is the source of joy and happiness.

Virtue is goodness. Jesus said, "There is none good but God." Paul indicated that righteousness is a free gift from God and that it is grace that does good works through us, not we ourselves. He also says that it is faith that gives access to grace, and that faith comes by hearing the word (literally, utterance) of God. Jesus said, "My sheep hear My Voice."

Wisdom is defined in 1 Corinthians 1:30.  It is Jesus Christ, and it is righteousness, holiness, and redemption.  Righteousness, that is hearing God's Spirit and responding to Him in obedience and submission so that His love is shed abroad in out hearts by the Holy Ghost, plants the seeds of holiness.  You reap what you sow.  Holiness is a transfiguration, by small steps from glory to glory, largely in the mind, that sets us free our own fallen nature, Satan, and the social pressures of the culture.

Ps.144:15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the Lord.

1 Peter 3:14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

1 Peter 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

Deuteronomy 33:29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like to thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars to thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil--this is God's gift to man.

Luke 6:43-49 For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit, for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. "Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I tell you? Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like:...

Psalm 34:8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!

John 14:1 Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.

Psalm 1:1-6 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;...

Luke 12:1-59 In the meantime, when so many thousands of the people had gathered together that they were trampling one another, he began to say to his disciples first, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops. "I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do. But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!...

Isaiah 26:3-4 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.
