Non-Science that is Labeled as Science
We do have something that is being called science, but it is not real science. It is a science based on nothing. (nothing other than our ability to dream) It is a kind of science based on presuppositions. Whatever we hear repeatedly begins to seem to make sense. If we hear the same story over and over, we stop analyzing it. A true scientist is always willing to examine all the facts. A fanatic, on the other hand, locks onto a solution with a closed mind to conflicting facts. Are there any true scientists or are they all stuck in their old presuppositions?
This science based on nothing is needed to defend ideas like evolution. It's great for that. It's the absolute worst for things that can be checked. If you try to use it to design a jet engine, that engine will never work. if you try to use it to design a car, then everyone will know. It only works for things like evolution.
Have you noticed that many of the scientific facts that used to be taught in the schools aren't facts any more. They have gone the way of the dodo bird. Well, actually, they never were facts, but scientists thought they were facts. And it never was science, but teachers thought it was science. That's the trouble with reality. It keeps ruining perfectly good "scientific" theories.
