Every good gift comes from above. The human mind was never created to be used outside of a submissive relationship with God, but rather to be in submission to the Holy Spirit. Did you ever consider how the worldly "intellectuals" could come up with such silly ideas? The reason is that they are trying to use their own minds apart from the Holy Anointing. God is the source of all knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. The human mind has no real power in itself. It's intelligence is the cause of most of the trouble in the world.

The theologians try to use a double mind and receive revelation from God mixed with the intelligence of their own thinking. They receive nothing from the Lord and create yet another zany dogma that teaches things that God never revealed. Better that they would wait until they are sent by God.  Instead of waiting, they make money by fleecing the flock of God with messages that appeal to those with itching ears.

James 1:5-8 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.  For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
