The Real Absolutists Are The Relativists, Humanists, Atheists, Agnostics, And Such Like.

Absolutism actually means dominance through threat of punishment and violence. That sounds more like the type of government that grows out of ungodly mindsets such as the socialist governments, Muslim governments, or the apostate, fallen away from Christ, church government of the Holy Roman Empire. It would certainly describe the mindset of those who foolishly are currently working blindly to try to bring about an ungodly false utopia on the earth and put an end to God, His Son, Jesus, and His Church--and they are relativists.

This type of Absolutism is the opposite of Biblical Christianity.

Absolutism is used by some to mean an arrogant, intolerant, self-righteous, know-it-all, closed-minded attitude. That sounds like the attitude of many of the relativists, evolutionists, agnostics, and atheists I've met.  Relativists tend to be arrogant, intolerant, self-righteous, know-it-all, and closed-minded to anything but relativism.  In fact, Relativism is their form of Absolutism.

This type of Absolutism also is the opposite of Biblical Christianity.
