War and Law Enforcement

Another issue that often comes up is the issue of war and law enforcement. Does God give authority to governments so they can enforce law or protect citizens? The Scripture is clear on this for all who accept the Scripture. These are not issues for the Church to be involved with. Most of the anti-war or anti-law campaigns are put forward by the anti-Christ religions, and that may be something of which we ought to take note. Pray for those who are engaged in protecting us from criminals and from oppressive and violent countries.

Proverbs 24:11 & 12 If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn to death, and those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
