God loves you because that is His nature.  God is love.

If there is any love anywhere, it comes from God.  God is righteous.  He is sinless.  Sin is the lack of love.  God cannot do that.  Love is righteousness and is the fulfillment of the law.  It would be impossible for God to sin.  Beyond that, God created you.  You are His creation.  He created you in such a way that you can only function properly with the Spirit of Christ flowing through you.  Your mind does not work correctly without the Spirit of Christ.  Your spirit was created to be connected in submission to the Holy Spirit.
