The Calling Of God
I don't know about the calling of others, but I'm called to the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33).
I know that I'm called to the continuing unfolding of revelation in the Scriptures, which is given to the apostles and the prophets sent by God, not sent by men nor sent by themselves (Ephesians 3:5). I'm called to the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19). I'm called to the coming together of the body of Christ. (John 17:21) I'm called to submission to the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, who also walk in unity with and submission to each other and who have been set by God to equip the saints for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12, 1 Corinthians 9:1-9). I'm called to a Scriptural Church order with elders and deacons in the local assembly rather than a chief elder or a local paid pastor (Acts 14:23, 1 Timothy 5:17, Titus 1:5, James 5:14). I'm called to Spirit led church service after the manner of 1 Corinthians 14. I am called to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God (Ephesians 4:13, 1 Timothy 1:3). I am called to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13-15). I am called to exercise the ministry and the gifts of the Spirit, which were imparted to me by the prophecy and the laying on of the hands of the presbytery (Acts 8:18, 1 Timothy 4:14, 2 Timothy 1:6, Romans 1:11).
