Basics of Denominational Christianity:
The denomination either takes precedence over God or else it runs as a secondary god to the true God.
Denominational Christianity is one of the major themes of the first letter of Paul to the Corinthian Church.
Denominational Christianity can lead to a demagogue's worldview where all Christians outside the favored denomination are demonized. This is a failure to "discern the Body of Christ."
- A denomination is a division in the church.
- Church divisions or denominations are of three types:
- Division based on doctrine
- Division based on a person
- Division based on an organization
