The Logical Fallacy of Appeal to Complexity occurs when lack of understanding of a topic is brought as proof that one argument is as good as another. There may or may not be others who do have an understanding of the topic.
Rocky: “The Molecules-to-Man story is so unlikely that it is statistically impossible just because of what has been learned regarding information theory.”
Sandy: “Information is still so poorly defined that it cannot be used as an argument.”
