| Only 12% Believe |

If you have not read Stories Versus Truth, you may want to read that before reading this. Since this was written, Atheists have made huge gains in numbers of believers in Atheism. They failed to convince many using logic and science, so they went to emotion and ridicule, which has been effective for them. Only 12% (this number varies from poll to poll)Polls get varied results depending on how they word the questions. Also, it has become clear that those conducting the polls have yet to design a poll that does not confuse the average American, which is more of a problem created by the flimflam of evolutionism than by the pollsters. Yet, the polls usually come in with anywhere from 5% to 10% believing in naturalistic evolutionism. Given the amount of tax money that has been spent trying to "evangelize" the populace to the evolutionistic religion, it is amazing how steady these number have held. That is not to say that all this spending of tax dollars on evolutionism has not had a negative effect. It certainly has had an effect. Yet, evolutionism and Atheism are very difficult to believe. Gallup conducted polls in 1982, 1991, 1993 and 1997, and each year's results are comparable to the others. Results for the 1991-NOV-21 to 24 poll were 9%. A nationwide poll (November-December, 1999) commissioned by the ultra-liberal People for the American Way (PAW), whose anti-creation views are well known shows 5% believe that naturalistic evolutionism is fully accurate. There is an article with more information on this poll at https://www.icr.org/pubs/btg-b/btg-137b.htm 2004 article on the beliefs of Americans regarding evolution: https://www.icr.org/pubs/btg-b/btg-038b.htm another excellent article: Do people really believe in evolution?https://www.icr.org/pubs/btg-b/btg-109b.htm Why do so many biology teachers endorse creationism? The poll3 measures three positions, and the results are shown in Gallup's graph below.
While the level of "evolutionary atheists" has remained pretty constant over the last few years, the last two years have seen a 6 percent increase in those believing in creation, with a 6 percent decrease in "theistic evolution." Wright concludes that the creationists' increase must have come almost entirely from the ranks of the "undecided" theistic evolutionists, and that this change is due to the vociferous and aggressive comments of "militant Darwinism atheists," such as Richard Dawkins and PZ Myers. He says: I mean they started proselytizing, ridiculing the faithful, and talking as if religion was an inherently pernicious thing.... It's as if people who had previously seen evolution and religion as compatible were told by the new militant Darwinians, "No, you must choose: Which is it, evolution or religion?"--and pretty much all of them chose religion.4 The effort to sell evolutionism goes on and on. Phrases like the following are developed: “Nothing in biology makes sense except in the light of evolution.” ~ evolutionist Theodosius Dobzhansky The fact is that Nothing in biology makes sense in the darkness of evolution. Nothing in biology makes sense except in the light of God and His Utterance. He tells us that He created the Heavens and the Earth and everything in them in six days, and everything that can be observed in any of the sciences finally makes sense within that statement.
How can we know anything about anything? That’s the real question |
