Basics of Disconnected Christianity:
Colossians 2:8-19 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the lies and rituals of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power... Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
Some walk in worldly ways that cause them to become disconnected from the Head, King Jesus.
This is an extreme disorder, a deadly disorder.
These worldly ways can be as simple as wanting to do our own thing. God wants to lead us to higher heights in Him. When He opens the door and we refuse to follow Him, we lose our ability to stand in His presence. We have broken it off. Sure, we are still born again, but we have stopped moving forward with Christ.
We can get busy with a lot of religious things, but we really need to repent and get back into communion with God. He should be our guide and our constant friend. If that is not the case, something is very wrong.
