John Chapter 3

There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
The same came to Jesus by night, and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a Teacher Who has come from God, for no man can do these miracles that You do unless God is with him. "
Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you that except a person is born again, that person cannot see the Kingdom of God." *
Nicodemus said to Him, "How can one be born when one is old? Can one enter the second time into one's mother's womb and be born?"
Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you that unless a person is born of water/Spirit, that person cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Don't marvel because I said to you that you must be born again. *
The wind blows where it desires to, and you hear the sound, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes; so is everyone who is born by the Spirit."
Nicodemus answered and said to Him, "How can these things be?"
Jesus answered and said to him, "Are you a teacher of Israel and don't know these things?
Truly, truly, I say to you that we speak about what we do know and testify about what we have seen, and you don't receive our witness.
If I have told you earthly things, and you don't believe, how shall you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
And no man has ascended up to Heaven, except for Him Who came down from Heaven, the Son of man Who is in Heaven.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, in the same way, the Son of Man must be lifted up, *
so that whoever believes into Him should not perish, but have real, genuine, and absolute fullness of life of the Kingdom Age. *
For, in this manner, God loved the world so that He gave His unique Son so that whoever believes into Him should not perish but rather have the genuine and absolute fullness of life of the Kingdom Age. *
For God did not send His Son into the world to separate the world for judgment but so that the world, through Him, might be rescued from destruction.
Whoever believes into Him is not separated, but whoever doesn't believe is separated already, because that person has not believed into the Name of the Only Begotten Son of God.
And this is the separation, that Light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than Light because their deeds were evil.
For everyone who does evil hates the Light, neither do they come to the Light, lest their deeds should be corrected.
But whoever does truth comes to the Light so that their deeds may be made visible that they are done by God." * *
After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judea; and there he waited with them, and baptized.
And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came and were baptized.
For John was not yet cast into prison.
Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.
And they came to John, and said to him, Rabbi, he who was with you beyond Jordan, to whom you bore witness, the same baptizes, and all men come to him.
John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it is given him from heaven.
you yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before Him.
He who has the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which stands and hears Him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is Fulfilled.
He must increase, but I must decrease.
He who comes from above is above all: he who is of the Earth is Earthly, and speaks of the Earth: He Who comes from heaven is above all.
And what he has seen and heard, that he testifies; and no man receives his testimony.
He who has received his testimony has set to his seal that God is true.
For He Whom God has sent speaks the utterances of God: for God does not give the Spirit by measure to Him.
The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His Hand.
He who believes into the Son has the genuine and absolute fullness of life of the Kingdom Age, and whoever refuses to believe and obey the Son shall not see genuine and absolute fullness of life; but the wrath of God abides on him.
