The Logical Fallacy of Notable Effort occurs when effort is used as proof of a claim rather than sound reasoning.
"Considering the amount of work that has gone into development of the Theory of Evolution. It must be correct."
This same logic could be applied to many other theories and theologies. Theories and theologies ought to be held very loosely.
