No True Scientist FallacyThe No True Scientist Fallacy occurs when a subset of all scientists is selected, and then an attribute of those selected scientists is added to the definition of the word, "scientists." This is a targeted application of the no true Scotsman fallacy that is used against Bible-believing scientists. Examples of the No True Scientist Fallacy
Bill used innuendo during this debate, repeating the phrase, "on the outside," do define scientists who believe in the Big-Bang-Billions-of-Years-No-Flood-Molecules-to-Man story. Here, he implies that scientists who do not believe in the Big-Bang-Billions-of-Years-No-Flood-Molecules-to-Man story are not real scientists. His phrase, "in the main stream," implies that those who don't dogmatically hold to the Big-Bang-Billions-of-Years-No-Flood-Molecules-to-Man story are out of the main stream. Then, he goes so far as to say that we will fall behind economically if we don't dogmatically believe in the Big-Bang-Billions-of-Years-No-Flood-Molecules-to-Man story.
