| Why Hasn\'t Noah\'s Ark Been Found? |
|
Obviously, there has been a lot of speculation about Noah's Ark. Any attempt to piece together past history, apart from God's revelation, involves many assumptions. Historical research involves inductive reasoning rather than deductive reasoning. See this 15-minute guide to logic. Much time and effort has been spent in Turkey on a mountain named Mt. Ararat by Marco Polo. Mt. Ararat is not necessarily the same as the mountains of Ararat. In fact, there are unsolved problems with this site. There is an Ararat/Armenia region where a group of men, including Josh McDowell, found something that looked like the remains of a huge boat, but they aren't claiming that it's the ark. We are left to the opinions of scholars and we can't go in and examine this because it's in a terrorist nation. Not only that, but even if the Ark were found and absolutely confirmed, there is no evidence that would convince Atheists that God exists even if someone were to raise from the dead. Those who love God acknowledge, honor, and believe Him. Those who don't love Him don't acknowledge, honor, or believe Him.
How can we know anything about anything? That’s the real question |
