Argument from Fallacy

Logical Fallacy of Argument from Fallacy / Argumentum Ad Logicam

Argument from fallacy is one of the many smokescreens that are used to cover the fact that the reasoning is based on one of the three fallacies of Agrippa's trilemma. Whenever a logical fallacy is committed, the fallacy has its roots in Agrippa's trilemma. All human thought (without Divine revelation) is based on one of three unhappy possibilities. These three possibilities are infinite regression, circular reasoning, or axiomatic thinking. This problem is known as Agrippa's trilemma. Some have claimed that only logic and math can be known without Divine revelation; however, that is not true. Without Divine revelation, neither logic nor math can be known. Science is also limited to the pragmatic because of the weakness on human reasoning, which is known as Agrippa's trilemma.

The logical fallacy of argument from fallacy occurs when someone asserts that a certain conclusion is false because one of the arguments that was presented to support it had a fallacy.

Examples of the Logical Fallacy of Argument from Fallacy / Argumentum Ad Logicam

“I read a book by a Creationist, and he committed the hang-nail fallacy, therefore, the entire book is trash and God didn’t create the Universe from nothing; it created itself from nothing.”

We stated this one in a way to make it easy to spot the fallacy. If someone does commit a fallacy, that does not change reality at all. If two people debate and one is a better debater, that doesn't make the better debater right, but it does have an effect politically.

“There is an obnoxious group of Christians who go out to funerals chanting and holding signs that everyone is going to Hell. Therefore, there is no Hell of God and I’m becoming an Atheist and do what I want to do.”

The fact that some people who call themselves Christian, whether they actually know Christ or not is immaterial, fall short, does not affect God or change reality. "Giving no offense in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:" 2 Corinthians 6:3 The ministry is Christ in the follower of Christ. The ministry has nothing to do with the flesh. Everyone who follows Christ is a ministry (the Christ born and growing within), but has a fleshly nature. They ought not to identify with the fleshly nature, but they must admit they have a fleshly nature. When any follower of Christ follows their own fleshly nature instead of following Christ, the ministry, that is, Christ, is usually blamed.
