Experimenter Bias

Logical Fallacy of Experimenter Bias

Experimenter's bias is testimony to the fact that the reasoning is based on one of the three fallacies of Agrippa's trilemma. Whenever a logical fallacy is committed, the fallacy has its roots in Agrippa's trilemma. All human thought (without Divine revelation) is based on one of three unhappy possibilities. These three possibilities are infinite regression, circular reasoning, or axiomatic thinking. This problem is known as Agrippa's trilemma. Some have claimed that only logic and math can be known without Divine revelation; however, that is not true. Without Divine revelation, neither logic nor math can be known. Science is also limited to the pragmatic because of the weakness on human reasoning, which is known as Agrippa's trilemma.

The Logical Fallacy of Experimenter Bias occurs when a measure or observation allows for leeway, and the person taking the measurement or making the observation is swayed by presuppositions, opinions, or worldviews.

Examples of the Logical Fallacy of Experimenter Bias

The Piltdown hoax, Archaeoraptor, the peppered moth, the Midwife Toad, Haeckel’s embryos, Ancon sheep, the Tasaday Indians, Bathybius haeckelii and Hesperopithecus (Nebraska Man)

The Piltdown hoax is one of the most well-publicized examples of experimenter bias. However, fraud is rampant in the scientific community, especially in religious issues such as evolutionism. Most of the fraud is taking place in the life sciences. Why the epidemic of fraud exists in science today?

Materialist bias is rampant. A belief in materialism brings the believer under the curse of Agrippa's Trilemma. They must process every conclusion based on one of these three: infinite regression, circular reasoning, or made-up assumptions. Since they are beginning with the arbitrary assumption of materialism, and since none of their thoughts have a solid foundation, they are going to bias their conclusions toward materialistic concepts.

While 40% of scientists believe in a "a prayer-answering God and in personal immortality." However, 90% of scientists and 95% of biologists who are elected to membership in the National Academy of Sciences do not believe in God or the supernatural. These are the politically powerful. The politically powerful are all operating under the problem of Agrippa's Trilemma. (Materialist High Priests)
