Rationalized Speculation! It's surprising how silly it is, yet intelligent people accept it.

Intelligent People Accept This?  

I was quite surprised.   For years, I wondered how the creationists and evolutionists could look at the same data and come out with such different answers.   The same is true of the socialist and the politically conservative.   The same goes for the religiously ungodly and the Christian.  

At a certain point, I realized that it's possible to rationalize anything, and very intelligent people can rationalize insane ideas and not even realize that they are doing so.   The first place that I noticed this was in theology.  I saw sincere Christians who disagreed on the interpretation of Scripture.  I really didn't meet any who were not intelligent or whose arguments were poorly stated when you had a chance to listen to their complete story.  The fact is that it takes great intelligence to convincingly make notions like global warming, socialism, or evolution sound as if they make sense.  There are highly paid people whose job it is to form arguments to convince people of the validity of notions like these.  The problem is not the lack of intelligence, and the solution is not in framing the most convincing argument.   The most dangerous people are those who are able to frame wonderful sounding arguments when they have no substance of truth behind those arguments.

Then the humor of it hit me.  

What a surprise!  When the ungodly say, "science," they mean, "I made it up."  When they say, "reason," they really mean, "I made it up."  When they say, "logic," they really mean, "I just made it up."  

I thought, "This is too simple.  It’s like a cheap magic trick.  How could such a cheap trick fool so many people?"  (The obvious answer is, "Because they want to be fooled.")  They are just making it up.  Sometimes, they know they are fabricating, and sometimes they are just blinded by their own presuppositions.  The nice word is speculation, but these made up facts can range from poor logic to presuppositions to lies.

You can’t imagine data into existence no matter what kind of intellectual you imagine that you are.  Yet, that is exactly the basis of so much of ungodly thought.  They grunt really hard and try to imagine data into existence.  They work equally as hard to hide the origins of their data and to make it seem to make sense.  This is true of ungodly theology and ungodly science.  The Da Vinci Code fiction is a perfect example, a mix of fact and imagination into a web of deceit that only the willingly ignorant would accept.  The so-called Theory of Evolution is another example.  Chicken Little stories about ecology are riddled with this kind of thinking.  So are all the stories that glorify socialistic ideas.  

Every rationalized speculation and rationalized supposition is actually a lie, because it is a dishonest attempt to give credibility to something that is incredible.  Many of the statements made are actually rationalized lies.  They are known untruths that are dressed up in the clothing of science, news, history, or any other sheep's clothing that will help to make the lie appear to be truth.

Those who reject God, including Christians who refuse to go on with God to higher heights and deeper depths, do so because they don't want the God of Love ruling them. They don't want the power of God's Love being the only motivating empowerment in their lives. They want to keep some of the self-glorification and self-gratification of their own flesh, their human mind, spirit, and emotion, to at least partially rule over them and be at least part of the power in their life. For this reason they are willing to go through unbelievable mental gymnastics and speak of their loopy logic, calling it "science" or else speak of it as "revelation," when it is neither science nor revelation. They seek to denigrate anyone who will not bow down to their false "science" or their false "revelation."  There is real science and false science.  There is real revelation and false revelation.  Being unable to deal with a greater measure of the reality of the loving God, they may even seek to find a naturalistic/materialistic explanation for miracles of God.

We reject rationalized speculation because it is a deceiving and bogus method of twisting truth to make it seem as if it supports non-science--for example: evolution, global warming, deconstructionist history, materialism, naturalism, and false claims of supposed errors in the Bible.  
 
We reject the idea that the human mind can, of itself, produce miraculous revelations of truth by the use of rationalized supposition.  We further reject all the various ways that New Age gurus or so-called intellectuals have tried to create the illusion of validity for a kind of thinking that is, after all, nothing more than deceiving and bogus rationalized speculation. We reject the silly practice of pseudo-scientific discovery by declaration, which has become commonplace among pseudo-scientists.  We assert that, just because a person declares something to be true, that does not make it true, even if the person making the declaration has many accredited degrees and even if the things that this person declares are supportive of the theory of evolution or other ungodly dogmas.  
 
While we accept the idea that we can observe, yet, our ability to observe is limited. We accept the idea that the Almighty God can do whatever He wants to do, and that includes His ability to reveal whatever He wants to whomever he wants.

More is required than the endless repeating or godless slogans, unproven claims, and misrepresentations.  Though some will fall for the very volume of these slogans, claims, and misrepresentations coming from many sources, we will not.  Arguing with the deceivers is fruitless, for they love to argue, and they have no moral compass or internal consistency.  You could wear yourself out checking out all the claims, but, at a certain point, a wise person will reject that source that has lied so many times before.  
 
We believe that speculation remains simple-minded speculation regardless of the verbiage used to try to make it sound scientific. Even if it is phrased in scientific or theological terminology, speculation is simply guessing. It is the art of making things up. In essence, it is the art of lying. We have no confidence in the lies of Liberalism, Humanism, New Age Christianity, or any of the anti-Christ groups. We have no confidence in the lies of speculative scientists or speculative historians or speculative theologians.  
 
We reject rationalized speculation because we recognize that it comes from the same heart that is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked.

Rom 8:7  because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can it be.  

We reject all of the following false claims that are made on the basis of rationalized speculation:

 
1. We reject the false claim that a hypothesis can prove anything.
 
2. We reject the false claim that a pipe-dream can prove anything.
 
3. We reject the false claim that all things are relative.
 
4. We reject the false claim that each person must find his or her own "truth," as if there were many truths rather than one truth. We reject that because it is simply a way to allow each person to find his or her own lie.
 
5. We reject the false claim that all things are in chaos and there is no order.
 
6. We reject the false claims of those who are pushing Post Modernism. This includes the Relativistic concept, which says that there is no right or wrong, no truth or lie, but rather there are only losers and winners. We reject that as a lie, because there is truth and there are lies.
 
7. We reject the false claim that there are no absolutes.
 
8. We reject the false claim that it is OK to reconstruct (lie about) history.
 
9. We reject the false claim that it is OK to reconstruct (lie about) the U.S. Constitution.
 
10. We reject the false claim that we all descended from fish.
 
11. We reject the false claim that energy designed and created itself.
 
12. We reject the false claim that hydrogen turns into people over time.
 
13.  

    We reject the false claim that there must be a mysterious law of nature that somehow works just the opposite of the Second Law of Thermodynamics, because, despite claims to the contrary, this anti-Second-Law-Of-Thermodynamics can be observed nowhere.  

     

    The Evolutionists will tell you a half truth about the Second Law of Thermodynamics.  The Evolutionists will tell the half truth: "The Second Law of Thermodynamics only applies to isolated systems, so it’s not relevant to evolution, because the Earth is an open system."  This is a clever lie.  Here is the part of the truth that they are withholding:  the Second Law of Thermodynamics was derived using theoretical isolated systems, but it applies to all systems, and can only be overcome locally and temporarily in open systems when stringent conditions are met. Not only that, but we are not talking about the Earth.  The Earth is just a subsystem of a much larger system called the Universe.  The Universe is an isolated system.  Evolutionists claim that Evolution took place in this isolated system, but the Second Law of Thermodynamics tells us that their story is a myth.

28. We reject the false claim that if you do more good than evil, that will get you into heaven.

30. We reject the false claim that there is no devil and that there are no evil spirits or angels.
 
31. We reject the false claim that socialism is compassionate.
 
32. We reject the false claim that a living child is not a person because he or she has not yet been born.
 
33. We reject the false claim that it’s OK to kill the old, the sick, or the disabled.
 
34. We reject the false claim that it’s OK to commit fornication or to have lewd thoughts.
 
35. We reject the false claim that you can help the poor by punishing the rich.
 
36. We reject the false claim that you can help employees by punishing the employers.
 
37. We reject the false claim that high taxes don’t hurt the economy.
 
38. We reject the false claim that the government should spend billions on social programs, which have proven to be failures, because the government is trying to do the job of the Church.
 
39. We reject the false claim that the separation of Church and State means that the State must teach and be guided by the Humanist religion.
