This is an attempt to say that A is true because of B when B in no way proves that A is true. Example that is easy: People shouldn't have to work because ice cream has no bones. You can see that ice cream has no bones, but that doesn't porve that people shouldn't have to work. Some real-life examples: Evolution is science because most scientist say they believe in it. Creation should not be taught in schools because of the separation of church and state. Evolution must be taught in the schools because all of science depends on it.
