Keep in mind that a person without God has no iron-clad rule about what constitutes a lie. Most of them know the word, science, and the word, logic, and they might know some of the rules of science and logic, but they have no idea when they leave the rails and end up off the tracks. Actually, this is a problem for those who follow Christ as well. It is really easy to go off into something that isn't really true. This is why we have denominations/divisions in the church. If it's a problem for one who knows that a lie is an abomination, that what about a person who has no rational reason not to lie? How about a person who believes there are no absolutes? How about a person who is putting darkness for light and light for darkness. See the baloney detector for more information.
How can we know anything about anything? That’s the real question |
