Either/Or Fallacy

Some things are a choice between two things, but we must be careful. Here is an example of the fallacy: Evolution is change over time. You either believe that living things change from generation to generation or you believe that they don't change at all from one generation to another. Few or no people believe that there is no change from one generation to another. We observe change, but we don't observe the addition of the kind of new, innovative information that would have been necessary for each small supposed evolutionary advance. What we can see in the present and in the fossil record is great variety within kinds (like the cat kind including kitties, lions, and tigers, or the dog kind including puppies, wolves, and coyotes) and no changing of one kind into another kind. Evolution is much more than change over time from one generation to another. Evolution is the belief that a one-celled living thing changed into a whole different kind of thing until there were all the kinds of living things we see around us today. This would involve the addition of tons on information for each small upward change. The addition of information by natural processes has never been observed, though billions of tax dollars have been spent trying to show that this might be possible. If it were possible, it still wouldn't prove that molecules-to-man evolution actually happened. But it appears that it is not possible--at least, even with so much money and effort spent, they have not been able to observe such a thing. This is true to the point that there is now a scientific Law of Universal Information. Read "Without Excuse" by Werner Gitt for the details on that. See also: Information Theory Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4. Here is another interesting article.) More is constantly being learned about information and about the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Evolutionists tend to hide in the weeds of the unknown with an argument from ignorance: "If you can't prove, by empirical science, that evolution is impossible, then it happened." By empirical science alone, we can only prove probabilities. The probabilities show the Big-Bang-Billions-of-Years-No-Flood-Molecules-to-Man story to be a bazaar hypothesis, a story that is so improbable that it should not be considered. However, empirical science is not a tool that can prove anything to be true or false absolutely. For absolute proof, we have revelation. (See Basic and Concise Guide to Practical, Useful Logic and Reasoning). God says that He created everything. He is the One Who enforces the laws of nature. He is the One Who will judge all of us in the end. We know that because we know Him presonally through the indwelling Presence of Jesus Christ and the moment-by-moment instruction of the Holy Spirit. See the baloney detector for more information. Evolution is merely the philosophy of change as opposed to the philosophy of fixity and unchangeability. One must choose between these alternate philosophies, for there is no intermediate position; once admit a changing world and you admit the essence of evolution. - See more at: https://crev.info/baloney-detector/#sthash.JizRIIk8.dpuf
