The logical fallacy of refusing to look at evidence occurs when someone simply will not examine the evidence.
Sandy: "No, I will not seek the Lord in sincerity, humility, and a will to do His will, and I will not taste and see that the Lord is good. You are making an unsupported claim"
Rocky: "I told you how to verify this for yourself. You are in denial. The fact is that you couldn't prove the Sun to someone who refuses to look at the evidence."
Sandy: "Ha! The Sun is a physical object."
Rocky: "What Sun?"
Sandy: "Look in the sky. The Sun is there."
Rocky: "That's an unsupported claim."
Sandy: "OK. I get it. You're just saying that I have to try. But I am not going to submit myself to God or anyone."
