Titus |
Paul, the apostolic elder's letter to Titus, who was an apostolic deacon working under Paul's direction. 1. the traveling deacon to ordain qualified elders--rebuke deceivers who profess to know God but actually deny Him 2. speak only sound doctrine--instructions for older women, younger women, young men, slaves (would apply to employees)--the grace of God instructs us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires, to live sensibly, righteously, and godly lives right now looking forward to glory. Redemption is from every lawless deed--our purification 3. good works--reject those who argue or divide after two warnings ![]()
