Can you imagine for a moment fear gripping you as you come to your car alone at night in a dangerous part of a large city where murder is very common, and your car will not start. So you get out of your car on this dark, deserted street when you hear many footsteps heavily and quickly coming your way. Then you see 15 big burly men emerge from the darkness looking directly at you and almost running toward you, would it make any difference to you if you knew that they had just gotten out of a Bible Study?

This is an interesting question in that it is an excellent example of a loaded question. This question is loaded with false/invalid and misleading presuppositions. The point of the question: The point that the questioner is trying to imply is simply this: "Atheism is morally superior to Christianity." The problem with this point is that Atheism has no context for any real ethical or moral thought. What would be the basis for anything being wrong if there is no God. The very reason that Atheists become Atheists, to escape submission to the Almighty God, makes then lack a logical basis for claiming that anything is moral or immoral. They can run to any philosophy and find that there is no basis. If an Atheist is a thinking Atheists, then he or she must say: "I'm just making this up," whenever they are speaking of ethics or morality. The Atheist is willingly ignorant of both the purpose of life (Read More) and of the meaning of life (Read More), and the Atheist does not knowwhat righteousness is (Read More) or what God's good plan is (Read More).

The simple reality is that the God described by the Bible does exist and every Atheist is actually aware of this fact because God made it obvious in His creation. The reality is that the most important commandment is this: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind." Failure to fulfill the most important commandment is the worst sin, and it is the very thing that makes it impossible to fulfill the second most important commandment: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Only God can do righteousness, and humanity can only do righteousness when humanity is reconciled to God. The human mind was created to be joined to God in completeness that we don't currently have the capacity to fathom, though we can understand the little bit that God has revealed to us. The human mind cannot possibly function properly without the constant Anointing of the Holy Spirit flowing though it in power for righteousness, and the first step toward this process is called "being born again."

It is important to realize that the human mind was created to work only when under the Anointing of the Holy Spirit. Without that unity with God and that Anointing, the human mind is much like a very complex piece of equipment that is running wild without an operator. It wreaks havoc everywhere it goes.

Often, people who ask this sort of question are grasping for a reason to turn your back on God because they have done things and put themselves into a bondage from which they think they cannot be set free. At that point, they are desperate to "prove" that "God does not exist" and anxious to justify their muddled thinking.

The question that was asked is very typical of the type of faulty reasoning that is perpetrated by the ungodly. It misses the mark in so many ways. The basic point that is craftily hidden within the question is based on a lie. There are several lies presupposed into the question.
