Answer:
I'm going to concentrate on your first two questions: What is the Church? How should it be governed? There are probably better sources for answers to your other questions. What is the Church? The word, Church, means "called out." The Church is the company of believers who have been called out of the current eon and order and who are part of the coming eon and order. The Church is a specific thing that God designed for a specific purpose. He has given us the pattern in the Bible, but few are following it. How should the Church be governed? The complete government of the Church is defined in the Bible. The true Church is a theocracy. It is governed by God through men who walk in submission to the Holy Spirit. We see mostly democracies and monarchies and oligarchies now, but God's pattern is clear in Scripture. The overall Church (Church universal) is governed by apostles who are in submission to each other and to Christ, who are elders and deacons to the entire Church rather than any local Church, who travel, who receive a wage but not beyond what is necessary, who work in unity, who receive the revelation of the Scripture, and who supply what the Church needs to come into unity and grow to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. The local Churches are governed by local elders and deacons who are set for life by the indication of the Holy Spirit and the laying on of hands of the apostles who are in submission to each other, to the apostles, and to Christ. The home is governed by the husband and the wife who are unity and submission to each other, the local elders, the traveling elders, and Christ. Submission to Christ is key in that no decision should be made based on human intellect. In fact, the human mind was never created to operate outside of the anointing of the Holy Spirit of love and peace. This is the government of the Church that is revealed in the Bible and which God restored to the Church through a series of revelations over hundreds of years, finally restoring apostles in the late 1940s. With the genuine has come many counterfeits, but the counterfeits don't make the real any less real. Below are some additional links:

This is the manifestation of the Sons of God.
